4 {quick update}

Driving north from Florida for our trip home to visit family and stop at some of our favorite places, it was seeing those Blue Ridge mountains again that made something in me relax, I was home.  The first day I met my mom and grandmother for a quick morning at Mt. Vernon, while my guy and his dad golfed.  George Washington's home has become our place, ever since this happened, and we had some of the best talks ever.  I love that about growing up...I really like being friends with people in my family.

Oh man, I can't tell you how much I needed this vacation.  We squeezed in a Nationals game, beach time, picking on our favorite farm, my parents watched Watson for us for a bit, and now I feel so recharged and ready to...oh yea, come home to a Hurricane.

We find out on Monday if we officially (aka the military tells us to) need to evacuate, fingers crossed that's a big fat NO.  This is my first hurricane so I'm not sure what to expect, and I'm slightly nervous.

I didn't think I'd be gone this long from the blog, I miss it!  Sorry for my absence, believe me - I can't wait to get back into cooking, posting, and all around fun. :)

A huge Welcome to all of my new followers, I'm so excited to meet you all!  Let's chat.

Have a great weekend!
